According to GameRant, well-known horror game insider AestheticGamer (also known as Dusk Golem) claims that despite Konami and Bloober Team juggling several Silent Hill projects, there are plans to release a “Born From A Wish” DLC for the Silent Hill 2 Remake.
The insider suggests that the reveal—or even the launch—could coincide with the 2026 live-action film, Return to Silent Hill.
“Born From A Wish” is a side story from the original Silent Hill 2 that follows Maria before she meets James. The remake reportedly includes some nods and foreshadowing that tie into that storyline.
As always, none of this has been officially confirmed, so take it with a grain of salt.
