September 16, modezone. — Blizzard has announced on X (formerly Twitter) that Overwatch 2 will launch its long-awaited collaboration with Persona 5 tomorrow. The crossover brings a lineup of striking new character skins inspired by Atlus’ hit RPG.

The official Overwatch 2 account shared the news alongside an exclusive illustration drawn by Shigenori Soejima, the character designer of Persona 5. Confirmed crossover skins include:

  • Illari — JOKER / Ren Amamiya
  • Mercy — PANTHER / Ann Takamaki
  • Genji — SKULL / Ryuji Sakamoto
  • Lifeweaver — FOX / Yusuke Kitagawa
  • D.Va — QUEEN / Makoto Niijima

In the promotional art, the heroes of Overwatch 2 are reimagined in full Persona 5 style. While the overall looks are heavily transformed, Lifeweaver and Mercy retain some elements of their original designs.

Esports outlet SiegeGG predicts that Blizzard will release a large bundle containing all collaboration skins, while also allowing players to purchase them individually. The expected pricing is as follows:

  • Full bundle: ~5,900 Overwatch Coins
  • Individual skin bundles: ~2,800 Overwatch Coins each
  • Single skins: ~1,900 Overwatch Coins each

The crossover marks one of the biggest style shake-ups for Overwatch 2, giving heroes an unmistakable Phantom Thieves flair.
