September 16, modezone.com — Bandai Namco has announced that the latest entry in the Digimon Story series, Digimon Story: Time Anomaly, will launch on October 2 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam version arriving October 3).
According to Xbox’s official update last night, a free demo is now available with full Chinese language support. Players can experience the early chapters of the game, including exploration of several dungeons in the “Digital World: Ilias.” Progress made in the demo can be carried over to the full release.
modezone.com previously reported that the digital edition of Digimon Story: Time Anomaly will be available in Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate versions. The PS5 Standard Edition is priced at HK$479 (approximately RMB 438.5 at current exchange rates). Physical editions will also be offered, including limited and premium collector’s editions.
According to official specifications, the console versions of the game are capped at 30 FPS with no HDR support:
- PS5: 3840×2160 / 30 FPS / 19 GB + additional data
- PS5 Pro: 3840×2160 / 30 FPS / 19 GB + additional data
- Xbox Series X: 3840×2160 / 30 FPS / 25 GB + additional data
- Xbox Series S: 2560×1440 / 30 FPS / 25 GB + additional data
- PC: Up to 3840×2400, down to 1280×720 / 60 FPS under recommended specs / 27 GB + additional data
Digimon Story: Time Anomaly is set to bring fans a brand-new adventure in the digital world, with the free demo offering an early chance to dive in ahead of launch.
