On September 17, Team Cherry announced the details of the second major patch for Hollow Knight: Silksong, released on the 16th. Unlike the first patch, this update mainly focuses on fixing bugs rather than adjusting the controversial difficulty level.
In a Steam post, Team Cherry stated that Patch 2 for Silksong has been launched on the test branch, addressing some “critical issues” still present in the release version, as well as “cleaning up” certain tool-related bugs.
The post notes that the current version of the patch (v1.0.28626) is now available in the public test branch, where players can try it out. Before the official release, more content and adjustments will still be added.
The first patch released last week lowered the difficulty of certain parts of the game, responding to player complaints that the game was too difficult.
