  • Single-Core Score: The M5 achieved a remarkable single-core score of 4,263, marking it as one of the highest ever recorded in Geekbench 6. 
  • Multi-Core Score: In multi-core tests, the M5 scored 17,862, placing it on par with the 2022 M1 Ultra, which scored 17,850. 

🧠 M5 Chip Architecture

  • CPU Configuration: The M5 features a 10-core CPU, comprising four performance cores and six efficiency cores, built on third-generation 3nm technology. 
  • GPU Enhancements: Equipped with a 10-core GPU, the M5 offers up to 45% faster graphics performance compared to its predecessor, the M4. 
  • AI Capabilities: Each GPU core includes a Neural Accelerator, delivering over 4 times the peak GPU compute performance for AI tasks compared to the M4. 
  • Memory Bandwidth: The unified memory bandwidth has been increased to 153GB/s, nearly a 30% improvement over the M4.
