A Spooky Classic Returns Just in Time for Halloween

Nintendo has officially announced that the GameCube classic Luigi’s Mansion will join the Nintendo Switch Online Game Library on October 30, perfectly timed for the Halloween season. The title will be available to Nintendo Switch 2 owners with an active Switch Online subscription.

With this addition, the entire Luigi’s Mansion trilogy — Luigi’s Mansion (2001), Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, and Luigi’s Mansion 3 — will now be fully playable on the next-generation Switch platform.


From GameCube to Switch 2

Originally released in 2001 as a Nintendo GameCube launch titleLuigi’s Mansion was praised for its eerie atmosphere, puzzle-based ghost-catching mechanics, and the charming cowardice of its unlikely hero, Luigi.
