September 15 – At the recent Nintendo Direct, numerous highly anticipated game titles were unveiled, including release dates for blockbuster titles such as Metroid Prime 4. Now, more details about upcoming games are gradually being revealed. For players who prefer digital versions, knowing game file sizes in advance is especially crucial.
Well-known leaker Stealth has disclosed the storage requirements of three major Switch 2 titles. Among them, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will take up 45GB, marking a significant increase compared to previous entries in the series. The Super Mario Galaxy remastered collection, set to launch next month, is comparatively lightweight, requiring just 7GB in total. This is mainly because the originals were developed for the Wii platform and the remaster includes no additional content. The most surprising case is Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, which will demand a massive 88GB of storage.
Given these storage figures, digital players would be wise to plan ahead and prepare sufficient storage for the Switch 2 to avoid running out of space.
