On September 13th, market research firm CounterPoint Research released a blog post on September 12th, reporting the best-selling smartphones globally for Q2 2025. The iPhone 16 took the top spot with a 4% market share.
Apple claimed five spots in the top 10, with the iPhone 16 winning the title of "Global Best-Selling Smartphone" for the second consecutive quarter. In Q2, it further extended its lead over the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models. The iPhone 16e also made it into the top 10 in Q2 2025, thanks to strong sales in Japan and the United States.
Samsung secured four spots in the top 10, with the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G topping the list. Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra ranked eighth, boosted by the exceptional performance of Galaxy AI.
The REDMI 14C 4G was the only Xiaomi phone to make the list. This smartphone continued to see strong growth in emerging regions such as Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa (MEA).
