September 10 — According to Wccftech, the long-standing rivalry between Apple and Samsung has once again been reignited by the release of new products.

Earlier today, Apple launched its iPhone 17 series, and Samsung took the opportunity to kick off its “iCant” campaign, ridiculing Apple for slow upgrades and lack of breakthroughs, while highlighting its own innovation in the foldable phone sector.

Samsung has often mocked Apple in the past, and this time was no exception. Samsung Mobile US posted a series of updates on X under the hashtag #iCant. Each time a new iPhone is released, Samsung seizes the opportunity to promote its strategic and technological advantages while criticizing Apple’s “step-by-step” approach.

Some of these posts poked fun at Apple’s snail-like pace of progress, while others emphasized Samsung’s persistence with foldable technology. One post read: “#iCant believe this is still relevant” — a reference to a 2022 comment: “Let us know when it (the iPhone) can fold.”

Samsung also compared the iPhone’s three 48MP lenses with its own 200MP camera, and mocked the Apple Watch’s belated sleep scoring feature, claiming that such functions had long been available in its products. Throughout these posts, Samsung repeatedly stressed its role as a “pioneer” in smartphone innovation, while suggesting that Apple “lacks disruption.”
