AYN Odin 3 Handheld Console Launches on Indiegogo Starting at $299

September 8 news — The AYN Odin 3 handheld console has officially launched on the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform. Positioned as a large-screen Android handheld, it comes in four variants, with a suggested retail price starting at $299.

According to AYN, the device will be available in Base, Pro, Max, and Ultra editions. All variants are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, built on a 3nm process with an 8-core architecture and paired with the Adreno 830 GPU. AYN claims the console can smoothly emulate most classic home consoles and PC platforms.

On the display side, the Odin 3 features a 6-inch AMOLED screen with a 1920×1080 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 650 nits, and 152% sRGB color gamut coverage. The handheld is equipped with an 8000mAh battery and supports up to 60W fast charging.

The device also includes full-size Hall-effect joysticks, four Hall-effect trigger buttons, and customizable backlit buttons and joysticks. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, USB-C, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a TF card slot. The USB-C port supports 4K/60Hz video output. The console weighs 390g and runs Android 15.
