Black Myth: Wukong Update Now Live — PS5 “Performance Mode” Switches to Native 60 Hz

Game Science today released patch 1.0.20.21756 for Black Myth: Wukong. The PS5 version got the update first, and the PC versions (Steam / Epic / WeGame) will follow soon. This update is a significant performance + experience overhaul, covering graphical and performance optimizations, combat refinements, new technical support features, and a host of bug fixes.

Performance & Technical Improvements

  • On PC, the patch formally integrates AMD FSR4 upscaling technology and improves stability in compatibility modes. It also adjusts default graphics presets for some GPUs and optimizes memory and CPU usage.
  • On PS5, the “Performance Mode” undergoes a major overhaul, now running at native 60 Hz with reduced input latency. Additionally, resolution fidelity and loading times have been enhanced.
