Apple new iPhone 17 Series: 12GB RAM for Pro Models, 8GB for Base Model, A19 Chip, and iPhone 17 Pricing

TrendForce released an analysis report on September 4, stating that the iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max will be upgraded to 12GB of RAM, while the base model iPhone 17 will retain 8GB of RAM.

Earlier reports suggested that the entire iPhone 17 series would be upgraded to 12GB of RAM to support various Apple Smart AI applications. However, the latest analysis from TrendForce indicates that the iPhone 17 will keep the 8GB RAM, but its screen refresh rate will be upgraded to 120Hz.

The iPhone 17 will feature the A19 chip, while the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will use the more powerful A19 Pro chip, which includes 6 GPU cores. The iPhone 17 Air will be equipped with a "scaled-down" version of the A19 Pro chip, featuring 5 GPU cores.

Regarding storage, the standard iPhone 17 will start at 128GB, with additional options for 256GB and 512GB. The other three models will start at 256GB, with options for 512GB and 1TB storage versions.
