@WccfTech: A Korean telecom operator has leaked the complete specifications of Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 series, including the standard model, the ultra-thin Air variant, and two Pro models. All four devices will be powered by the A19 series chips and are set to debut on September 10 at 1 a.m. Beijing time.
iPhone 17 (Standard Model)
The standard iPhone 17 does not feature radical design changes or exclusive functions, but rather builds on the iPhone 16 with further refinements. It comes with a 6.3-inch OLED display, the new A19 chip, and 8GB of RAM. The rear dual-camera setup includes a 48MP main sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide lens.
The front camera has been upgraded to 24MP, which is expected to significantly improve video call quality. It houses a 3,600mAh battery, and thanks to the chip’s efficiency and software optimizations, battery life should see notable improvements.
iPhone 17 Air
The iPhone 17 Air is the highlight of this year’s lineup, boasting an ultra-thin design at just 5.5mm thick and weighing only 145 grams. Despite its slim build, it features a 6.6-inch ProMotion display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2740×1280.
It comes with a single 48MP main camera and a 24MP front camera. Official documents list it with the standard A19 chip, though earlier reports suggested it may use the A19 Pro chip with a 5-core GPU.
The device carries a relatively small 2,800mAh battery (though comparison charts with the Galaxy S25 Edge list it at 2,900mAh). To compensate, Apple is expected to rely heavily on software optimizations. The iPhone 17 Air will also be the first device since the iPhone 16e to feature Apple’s in-house C1 modem.
iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max
The iPhone 17 Pro sports a 6.3-inch display with a 3,700mAh battery, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max offers a 6.9-inch display and a 5,000mAh battery.
Both models are powered by the A19 Pro chip, which includes a 6-core GPU, along with 12GB of RAM and storage options up to 1TB.
