Apple iOS / iPadOS 26.1 Developer Preview Beta 4 (Build 23B5073a) Releases

On October 21st, Apple pushed the iOS / iPadOS 26.1 Developer Preview Beta 4 update (Build 23B5073a) to iPhone and iPad users. This update comes 7 days after the last Beta / RC release.

How to upgrade iOS / iPadOS / watchOS / macOS Developer and Public Beta versions?
• Public Beta: You need to register for the Apple Beta Software Program（https://beta.apple.com/）, and then upgrade through Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates.
• Developer Preview: You need to log in to the Apple Developer Program, and then upgrade through Settings > General > Software Update.

In this update, Apple has expanded the Apple Intelligence language support, adding languages including Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Portuguese (Portugal), Swedish, Turkish, Traditional Chinese, and Vietnamese, enabling more users around the world to experience Apple's AI assistant features.

Additionally, the AirPods Live Translation feature has been further expanded in iOS 26, now supporting Japanese, Korean, Italian, and Chinese (both Simplified and Traditional).

In the fourth beta version, Apple has also added two practical adjustments:

1. A new "Liquid Glass" option has been added to the Display & Brightness settings, allowing users to switch between "Clear" and "Tinted" system effects.
2. A switch to disable the "Swipe to Open Camera on Lock Screen" feature.
