September 13 News — Last weekend, the Nintendo Switch emulator Eden released version 0.0.3 stable build, fixing multiple bugs, improving performance, integrating EmuReady, and already supporting the new title Hollow Knight: Silksong. According to a report by Android Authority today, the Eden team has since brought an even bigger surprise: the Eden Emulator has officially launched on Google’s Play Store.
From the app page, screenshots, software description, and data security information can be found. The app supports devices running Android 11 and above. This marks the first time a Switch emulator has landed on the Play Store, which is of great significance. The developers stated that the emulator focuses on high performance without compromising aesthetics, compatibility, or stability.
Eden is a fork of the well-known Switch emulator Yuzu. After Nintendo took down Yuzu, its open-source code remained available, and some developers originally involved in the Citron fork formed a new team to build Eden, allowing players to continue running Switch games on other systems.
In July this year, the Eden team also announced that future versions would be deeply integrated with the EmuReady app. The EmuReady platform provides community-maintained compatibility reports, enabling users to launch games with optimal settings directly, further lowering the barrier to emulator configuration.
